Spring Bike Trip

34 students in grades 10 through 12 attended a bike trip through Pittsburgh on Thursday, May 3. The trip was put together by gym teachers, Miss.Zeungus and Mr.McCombie, and Mr.Glamp, the CADD and engineering teacher. The students left the school at 8 in the morning, and rode into Pittsburgh where they hopped on their bikes at Golden Triangles Bike Rental. The students started their ride just outside of downtown, road across the river to the southside and through station square. They continued along the river until they crossed back over to the point. At that time, they enjoyed a bite to eat in front of the foaming fountain where the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers enter into the Ohio River. After their relaxing break, the group mounted their bikes once again to follow their tracks back to the bus. In total, the group biked around 16 miles.
