Richard Hillwig, Staff Writer
Richard Hillwig is a proud member of The High Post Staff. He enjoys writing stories and cheering on the Wildcats of Greater Latrobe. Richard is a junior at Greater Latrobe Senior High School and is a three-year returning letterman on the staff. Richard enjoys cheering on his Pittsburgh sports teams in the Steelers, Pirates, Penguins, and Panthers. In his spare time, Richard enjoys writing and talking about sports (whether it’s on podcasts or stories). He enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family, along with playing hockey. Richard is the Sports Editor on staff and makes sure that we have up-to-date sports scores and coverage regarding all of our sports teams. Richard is dedicated to making sure that everyone in the Greater Latrobe community is caught up with everything in the sports world, and that the content that we provide will be great. Richard also brings connections with our Broadcast group to make sure that we can spread the word about different events and news around the area. Richard enjoys making his classmates better at writing and helping them improve on a daily basis. Richard’s main goal is to major in Sports Broadcasting or Sports Journalism. Richard also works with the Wildcats Network to provide up-to-date information regarding student athletes and coaches, and commentating on select games for our school sports teams.
