Hi, my name is Matt McCreery, and I am a junior at Greater Latrobe School District. This is my first year as a journalist for The High Post, and I have really enjoyed everything we’ve done so far this year to put out stories and share our views as Latrobe students. Outside of the classroom, I run track for the school and ski. Staying busy while training for these sports is very important to me because it allows me to stay motivated in what I do. It forces me to manage my time wisely since I don’t often have free time. I spent the summer working the rides at Idlewild, and doing what I could to prepare myself as a better student. I really enjoy it, and I plan to work at Idlewild throughout October, while doing everything I can to become a better writer, student, and athlete.
