Emma Shaulis is walking for the Avon 39 “The Walk To End Breast Cancer”.  This 39.3 mile event takes place on October 14th this year in New York City.  Emma has been raising money for an entire year with the goal of $1,800.  Emma currently is several hundred dollars short from her goal.  She was inspired by her mom to participate in the event.  Her mom has participated in the walk for eight years and will continue for years to come.  Their family members have had breast cancer and their fight inspired both Emma and her mom to make a difference.  

Anyone over 16 years old are eligible for the walk.  The annual walk switches location every year, but is for the same cause.  Her determination to help others will make this community a better place.
