On February 24th Capstone students had the opportunity to help the PA Fish and Boat Commission stock trout at Keystone State Park. After a brief explanation and safety meeting students first helped stock rainbow trout, trophy rainbow trout and golden trout by hand, using buckets. Each bucket weighed approximately 40 lbs and the ice made things difficult, but the students did a great job. Students then moved to a second location and stocked using a tube system. Mr. Patrick Roberts, Senior High Capstone Teacher, would like to thank Matt Kauffman of the PA Fish and Boat Commission and Angelia Schulteis of Trout Unlimited for a great day!
