As a senior here at Greater Latrobe, I have been able to set roots in clubs and outside organizations that have been part of my high school career for the past four years. From being the current 2019-20 Wildcat Marching Band Flute Captain, to my employment at Statler’s Family Fun Center as a Head Cashier, I have found myself determined to join activities in and out of the senior high that peak my interest. In school, surrounding myself with music in the F-hallways has become a major part of my life. As a flautist and piccoloist for the school’s Wind Ensemble, I have also found myself playing our school’s musicals in the pit orchestra. I have been part of two pit orchestras, including Titanic: The Musical and Man of La Mancha. Continuing on with marching band, I have hopes of playing piccolo at the collegiate level with a large university. Aside from playing the flute and piccolo, I have also been playing the viola for six years. With the viola I have been part of many ensembles including the Westmoreland Youth Symphony Orchestra. My membership in the Link Crew has altered my way of becoming more of an approachable peer, either with underclassmen or my friends. Global Scholars has assisted in my way of looking at the world and its stories with a perspective in a global aspect. Outside of school I have been taking private lessons at Seton Hill for five years, along with being a member of a flute choir. Aside from being a student here at Greater Latrobe, I have a strong interest in fashion. One of my favorite pastimes I like to do with friends is go thrifting at local shops, hoping to find pieces of clothing that are unique and help define my personality through my style. With plans regarding the future, I hope to go to college and major in Marketing and International Business with a minor in a language.
