Gavin Skwirut, Staff Writer
Gavin Skwirut is a senior at Greater Latrobe and has lived there since he was born. Gavin is a student athlete who is on the varsity swim team, and he has been swimming since he was 9 years old. He loves the competitive aspect of the sport along with all of the great memories he makes with his teammates throughout the years. Gavin also enjoys photography, and has taken lots of unique pictures while traveling to new and interesting places. He has even done senior photos for a few students at Latrobe. Gavin is interested in majoring in business when he goes to college, and he hopes to get good job experience by doing internships to help ready him for his career. He also wants to minor in communications to help sharpen his creative side by practicing his writing, photography, and videography skills he learned from taking broadcast and journalism. Gavin looks forward to being able to work with the amazing staff of The High Post and be able to share his creative ideas in brand new ways.
