still have the choice of how you’re going to live through this ̈ – Celine Dion. What this quote
means to me is that you can control what life throws at you but you can choose how you react.
How you grow and learn from this, What you take away from this and what will you give back.
Life threw Covid at us. No one wanted this, nor did anyone ask for this. We can’t run or hide
from it, this is our life and what’s happening now. So we stepped up. We put on our masks and
stay indoors. Said goodbye to our friends and our extended family for a while and we
quarantined. We improved our ways and tried to think more of others instead of ourselves. We
became closer with our family and friends and didn’t take little things for granted. So life threw
us a curveball but we chose how we were gonna live through this, we chose to live and come
together as a whole to not only better us but our country.
