Strength To Live: My Bucket List

  1. See the Seven Wonders of the World. I am going to see Colossus of Rhodes, Great Pyramid of Giza, Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Lighthouse of Alexandria, Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, Statue of Zeus at Olympia, and Temple of Artemis at Ephesus.
  2. Explore the Grand Canyon on a rim to rim horseback tour. Or on foot. Or kayak. Or mule. I’m not too picky.
  3. Travel with my friends. I want to go anywhere with a group of my closest friends, because the more the merrier, right?
  4. Go to New York/Paris fashion week. Just to sit in the front row and watch Gigi Hadid or Kaia Gerber strut down the runway in a designer outfit that’s worth more than my house, would be phenomenal.
  5. Skydive. To skydive in general would be awesome, but to skydive in a place like Spain or Africa? Now we’re talking.
  6. Visit every continent. I want to taste food, buy clothes, and listen to music in Africa, Asia, Australia, North America, South America, Europe, and even Antarctica!
  7. Be fluent in another language. I want to learn, thoroughly, other than English.
  8. Meet a celebrity. Honestly, I’d be happy to meet any celebrity. Yeah I’ve seen some in concert and stuff, but to actually sit down and have a conversation would be AWESOME.
  9. See the Northern Lights. Apparently you can see them around here sometimes if conditions are right, but I want to see the full phenomenon in a place like Alaska!
  10. Ride an elephant. They’re so big and so beautiful, so why would I not want to go elephant-back-riding?
  11. Go on an African safari. Ok.. but like zebras. Lions? Giraffes!! It’s a must.
  12. Carnival in Brazil. To mark the beginning of Lent, Brazil holds a huge event called Carnival, and you’re so wrong if you don’t think I’m going to try to attend some day.
  13. Cliff jumping. Yes you read that right. I want to do a backflip or something off of a high rock and land in the refreshing water of the west coast.
  14. Rescue an animal/adopt a pet. When I’m old enough and living on my own, I won’t really be on my own because I’ll have pets roaming every floor of my house.
  15. Get a college degree. Hey, I’m almost out of highschool, but I’ve still got a long way to go.
  16. Try eating escargot. I’ll try anything once. Twice depends on how the first experience went.
  17. Visit the Vatican. The Vatican is definitely on my travel list for sure. Vatican City in general would be incredible to see.
  18. Study abroad in Australia. No matter what college I end up attending, I will  find a way to study abroad in Australia.
  19. Sail the ocean in a sailboat. Ok probably not the whole ocean, but I do want to sail a lot at some point in my life.
  20. Make incredible, lifelong friends. Not all of the friends you make now will stay with you after highschool, but the one or two that do, are worth keeping forever.
