If you like pastries and pies, don’t hesitate to check out the Ligonier Pie Shoppe. When you first arrive, you look upon a cute little white building with red umbrellas above outdoor seating. As you enter through one of the two doors, you can find yourself in one of two places. If you enter the door on the left, you’ll be on the side with more of the individual desserts and the breads, if you enter on the right, you’ll be near the deli and meats section.

No matter which counter you’re at, however, you will be greeted with a friendly smile and a very welcoming employee. The employees seem to know just about everything about all desserts, and are guaranteed to help you find exactly what you’re looking for in a tasty treat.

If you happen to be in the mood for something small, try the donuts, which come in several different flavors ranging from glazed to chocolate glazed. The danishes are also perfectly mouth watering. If you’re looking more for something to share, any of the many types of pies are a fantastic choice. If you don’t have the sweet tooth for donuts or pie, any of the homemade breads can really satisfy your hunger along with the fresh deli meats.

If you don’t mind the drive, head out to the Ligonier Pie Shoppe, and treat yourself!
