Nik Manolakos, Broadcasting & Podcast Producer
Hey! I'm Nik Manolakos, and I am a senior this year. I play on the Latrobe Boys Soccer Team, Ice Hockey Team, and hope to run for the Track & Field Team in the Spring. I am involved in Key Club, Interact Club, Quill & Scroll Honor Society, and the 100th edition of The High Post. This is my first year on The High Post, however, I have been taking Broadcasting through all 4 years of highschool, and have used that as a platform to excel in multiple areas. On The High Post I am the Broadcasting & Podcast Producer and I hope to teach my audience while keeping them engaged in my pieces. My broadcasting background will help me to incorporate visual aspects to stories that will further engage readers and help them to understand the information. Along with The High Post, I am the cameraman/editor of the podcast starring Peyton Myers and JD Robinson. The three of us hope to provide entertainment by covering events and stories around the school. All of these experiences and opportunities that I am involved with will help to shape me into the person who I hope to be. My goal is to go to a four year college in hopes of learning more about Broadcasting & Sports Media, while playing hockey at the collegiate level. I am very excited and look forward to bringing new content and being an active member of the 100th edition of The High Post.
