Abby Sobota, Editor
Hey! My name is Abby Quincy Sobota and Latrobe is where I reside, although I wish it was North Carolina. I’m pretty much one of the most outgoing people you’ll meet, that is after I get to know you. People tell me I’m pretty funny so I guess they’re right, so if you ever need a good laugh just come on over. Athletics is what keeps me going in life, but sometimes you’ll catch me being stuck slaving away at Panera Bread in the mall. My passion is being on the lacrosse field savings some balls. Playing and also watching it makes me happy. Unlike most people I love running in any free time I have, whether it be one mile or ten miles I love doing it. The number one thing that keeps me functioning on a daily basis is country music, I mean you can never get enough of good ol Darius Rucker. Oh, and I also can’t survive without a diet pepsi in my hand. I think setting long term and short term goals for yourself is important. Achieving your goals gives you a satisfactory feeling. This year in journalism my goal is to be as helpful to the staff as possible and write as many articles as I can to improve my writing ability. Obviously I hope to cover some rad sports stories this year. My goal is to graduate high school and attend East Carolina University. As of now my intended major is to be a teacher, who knows maybe even a journalism teacher!
