Students Participate in Honors Choir Festival
Seven students attended the PMEA Honors Choir Festival at Seton Hill University on Friday, November 4. The students include junior Ashley Herman, sophomore Alex Jabbour, junior Matt Johnson, sophomore Carly Lubic, senior Tom Maroon, sophomore Chris Paluzzi, and senior Travis Rozik.

Weight Room Hours Change
Starting Monday, November 7, students will be able to utilize the weight room daily after school. The hours are 2:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Wimmer Scholarship Competition to Take Place
Saint Vincent College’s Wimmer Scholarship Competition will take place on Saturday, November 19.  First place winner will receive a full tuition, room and board scholarship with an estimated value of $150,000.  Second through fifth place will receive a four-year scholarship valued at $125,000.  Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA to be eligible for the competition. Interested students who want to register should visit the Saint Vincent College website or the guidance office by November 11

Parent Teacher Conferences to Take Place
Parent Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, November 10 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The conferences allow individualized time for parents to discuss their student with the teacher.

November Calendar Reminders
Students and parents are reminded of numerous schedule changes in the month of November. In remembrance of Veteran’s Day, a teacher-in-service day will take place on Friday, November 11 and an assembly will occur on Monday, November 14.  Additionally, students will be off Thursday, Friday and Monday, November 24, 25 and 28 for the Thanksgiving holiday vacation.
