Trout in the Classroom

Eighth grade students Adam Ridilla, Courtney Morrison, Ava Petrosky and Nick Patrick watch and care for the trout during the Trout in the Classroom Open House, held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011. During the open house, visitors learned more about the program, met students who have participated, and viewed the brook trout up close. Throughout the school year, students in junior and senior high environmental courses have raised live brook trout in their classrooms. They were responsible for monitoring the trout tank, tracking water quality data, and maintaining equipment. The trout will be released into Linn Run in early May.
