Homecoming 2018: ALOHA
On September 28, 2018, senior Gianna Ferry earned the title of Homecoming Queen. Gianna is kind- hearted, very popular, and a high honor roll student. She is co-captain of the tennis team and has played for all four years of high school. She also plays a big role in our school as vice president of student council for three years now.
Ferry is also seen almost everyday by almost every student, as she is a news anchor on WCAT-TV. She has taken Broadcast and Video Production throughout her high school career with hopes of a part of a news program in her future.
“Some hobbies I enjoy outside of school is working at Dairy queen and hanging out with friends and family,” said Ferry.
Lastly, I ended talking to Gianna by asking what the experience of winning Homecoming court was like. She said, “It’s an honor to win Homecoming Queen because everyone looks up to me and I can be a good role model for younger students in the school.”
