Vinny Amatucci, Staff Writer
Vincent Amatucci, known as Vinny, is a senior at Greater Latrobe Senior High School. This is Vinny's first year taking Multimedia Journalism and loves writing about sports. He has lived in Latrobe all his life. As an athlete, Arnold Palmer has been someone Vinny looks to as a hometown hero. He plays hockey and baseball for the highschool and is a three year letterman for the hockey team as a goalie. He has been playing hockey for 10 years for multiple teams and has grown to love the sport. Vinny also played baseball for 13 years as a three year returning letterman. As a third baseman he earned a position to the first team All Section in 2021. Vinny has a huge dedication to Pittsburgh Sports Teams and loves to watch his teams. He looks to attend college to further his academic and athletic career. Vinny’s stories this year will mainly focus on athletics including different teams and individuals. He will write about the growth of student athletes and the passion for sports. He will also photograph different events around our community. Vinny will bring his competitive edge to The High Post.
