Eyes of the World # 3

Grand Canyon, Summer 2011.

These old limbs of the tree spiral out like the arms and the legs of the amused souls who are here to gaze in awe at the beauty this world withholds; to be stagnant atop of the world can make the inhabitants below only seem so small.  A view can change ones perception of everything.  In that moment; right when the edge of the cliff  is reached, there is little time to worry but to be surprised in the realization that the inhabitants below must see us as tiny too, and maybe we are.

“Everything you can imagine is real.”

–          Pablo Picasso.
