Unfortunately, months after the last game played, the PIHL have officially brought the bad news to all Pennsylvania hockey fans.  The PIHL Penguins Cup was officially cancelled.  The hockey community is grateful for all they have done trying to make sure the game happened by rescheduling it on two separate accounts.  Despite the leagues efforts, it was not enough and their hands were forced to close the remainder of the playoffs..  The Greater Latrobe High Post sends its condolences to the family, friends and players and would like to congratulate the team on such a successful season.
