Camille Dominick, Staff Writer
Camille Dominick is a very hardworking individual. From the basketball court, to the softball field, to the classroom, she does her best to do anything and everything to her best ability. When it comes to her scholastic accomplishments and goals, she accepts nothing but perfection. From honor roll to being the president of Interact Club, Camille strives to be the best student she can be. On the athletic side of her life, she is a letterman in both basketball and softball. Her athletic career began as a small child, playing tee ball with her future classmates. Now, she works tirelessly to achieve her goals of starting on the Latrobe Varsity Softball Team. On the basketball court, Camille acts with the same determination. From a shoulder surgery in May to playing on the Latrobe Varsity Girls Basketball Team in November, Camille showed nothing but hardwork and determination. Basketball, being her favorite sport, is how this 16 year old sophomore spends her free time. Her favorite place to spend her time after school and on weekends is at the 424 Athlete Factory. Here she spends her time with personal trainers and working on her shot, in hopes of a stand out season with the high school basketball team. Along with the high school team, Camille plays for the Western PA Bruins. The “Bruins” are an AAU team (Amature Athletic Union) where she has high hopes of being scouted by college coaches, her dream schools being either Pitt or UCLA.
