Hey! My name is Talia Mongelluzzo and I am currently a senior at Greater Latrobe Senior High. I am a part of National Honor Society, Art National Honor Society and Key Club. I enjoy running, playing with my dog Harper, and spending time with friends. On the weekends, I work at Greensburg Country Club as a server and also attend as a member. When I am not spending time with friends or family, I am traveling and listening to music. I love traveling, to almost anywhere. It is my belief that life should be full of adventures. I listen to all different types of music. My phone has songs from any genre, but my favorite artist is Drake. I like to say I get my music taste from my dad, who is also my role model. I have always admired how hard of a worker he is and how he is always living life to the fullest. Of my many passions, I love to write. I took journalism to enhance my writing skills and possibly make it into a career. After high school, I plan to move onto a big University where I am hoping to major in either Finance or Journalism. I have a passion for both of them. I also enjoy reading books and keeping up with politics. If I am not working, studying or writing, I am baking with my grandmother. I love spending time with her in the kitchen. I hope one day I can be half the person she is! Besides all of my hobbies and passions, a cool fact about me is that I love coffee. I need coffee every morning, so if you were to ever see me in public, it would most likely be at a Starbucks. I am so excited to see what this year of journalism holds, not just for me, but for all of us as a team!
