When she isn't performing on stage or playing her Alto Saxophone or Flute, Layla writes stories and creates comic strips for the High Post. She has also been on the Girls Wrestling team for 2 years! She enjoys her classes that she has each year, and always has a great time doing lots of hands on projects throughout the week! She loves being in the marching band with all her amazing friends, even though the practices can be rough, tiring, or sometimes a little annoying, she always tries her best to keep a positive attitude during each practice anyway! She also enjoys her job as being a Lifeguard at Litchfield Aerobic Center and Charter Oak Pool. Even though she loves to play music, she also loves to listen to different genres of music in her free time. Some of her favorite styles of music are Pop, K-Pop, Jazz, and many more! Even though she is a very busy girl, she always makes time to hang out with her friends and family! In the future she hopes to live in Paris, France, and Tokyo, Japan! She also loves to sing, act and dance on stage! She has been in multiple musicals and plays such as Peter Pan and Wendy, the Wizard of OZ, Pipin, Bye Bye Birdie, and many more! As you can tell she is a very busy person, but she loves every part of all that she does.
