The High Post

Ryan Cammerata, reporter for the High Post at Greater Latrobe Senior High school has always enjoyed writing and seeking the truth to report for others. This is his first year reporting for the High Post as a senior for the 2016-2017 school year. Ryan’s writing skills have improved year by year and he’s finally ready to use his journalistic skills to provide meaningful articles to the High Post. He enjoys the daily experience in the High Post and being part of the staff. His favorite type of literature is transcendental journals and poetry. The ideas expressed by writers such as Henry David Thoreau and Ralph Waldo Emerson show great significance to him and what’s truly important in this life. Ryan likes to enjoy time with his friends as well as play baseball in his free time. He enjoys music, movies, and television. For the High Post he enjoys writing editorial articles and opinions. Ryan has realized the importance of writing and uses it as a meaningful conveyance of ideas that cannot be expressed properly through the spoken word. Ryan plans on attending West Virginia University in the fall of 2017 for the School of Business and Economics. He plans on running a business, either inherited or started on his own. He plans on moving out west and pursuing the American Dream after a brief post-college experience with transcendentalism. Ryan looks forward to the 2016-2017 year as a member of the High Post serving Greater Latrobe and all that this district stands for.
