Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas

Love is in the air again this Valentine’s Day with everyone racking their brains for the perfect gift for their significant other.

For him:

The trick to buying a gift that will charm your guy is to make it personal and sweet.  Guys love to see that you put some thought into what you get them.

1.)    Show off your creative side with a relationship themed coupon book with coupons such as free hugs and his choice of movie.

2.)    If you know his locker combination, leave him a cute note and Valentine’s themed candy such as the hugs and kisses addition of Hershey’s Kisses.  You can buy big bags of them at Wal-Mart.

3.)    Get him cologne in your favorite scent, he’ll love the thought and you’ll love the way he smells.

4.)    Frame a cute picture of the two of you as an addition to his room decorations.  Every time he glances that way, you’ll be on his mind.

5.)    Make him a mixed CD of his favorite songs, or even just songs that remind you of him.  If you’re looking for cute love songs, Taylor Swift is always a good option.

For her:

Show your girl how much you care with a gift that shows off your sensitive side.

1.)    Take her out to dinner at a nice restaurant (i.e.) Rizzo’s or Denunzio’s which will give you the opportunity to spend quality time together in a romantic setting.

2.)    Buy her a heart shaped box of chocolates with a cute note like “Life is sweeter with you in it” to make her feel like you’re the best boyfriend in the world.

3.)    Make her a tie blanket in her favorite color.  She’ll love the effort you put into the gift and it will be nice to snuggle under when you two hang out.

4.)    Buy her a huge Valentine’s themed teddy bear or other stuffed animal with hearts or a cute phrase on it.

5.)    Buy her a bouquet of her favorite flowers.  A gift that’s been around forever and obviously is a success.  She’ll be touched by the sweet gesture.
