Lucy Blycheck, Staff Writer
Lucy Blycheck is a senior at Greater Latrobe High School. She is excited to start her first year on The High Post Team! She is thrilled to be able to share stories about what is happening in the community or at school. Lucy likes to take photos and make things known of what's going on around the school (sporting events, dances, etc.). She is involved with Key and Interact Club, she is also involved in the Quill and Scroll Honors Society. Lucy plans to attend college and major in Business and minor in Interior design. She is undecided on where she wants to attend college but her top pick is West Virginia University. Lucy is also taking classes at the Westmoreland Community College during her senior year of high school. She plans to get her realtor license before starting college. When Lucy has free time she loves to spend time with her family and friends. She has three sisters, Abigail, Grace, and Mary, she also has two dogs, Teddy and Fenway. When she is with friends she loves to go shopping and just hangout. She loves to travel during the summer and explore new places. Lucy is thrilled to be part of the staff for the High Post, eager to get to know others better, and excited to share their stories.
Abigail Milyak, Staff Writer
Abigail Milyak is currently a senior at Greater Latrobe High School. This is her first year on The High Post staff. Abigail is a member of the Interact club and Key club. She is eager to take pictures, write stories, and learn new things. She believes the skills she will gain and learn will be incredibly important and useful to her throughout life. When Abigail is not at school or with friends you can find her at her job working at MB Prom as a stylist. This job not only allows her to express her creativity but teaches her important life skills that she can carry into her future career. After high school Abigail plans to attend a four year college, where she intends to major in Early Childhood Education. She is so excited to be a member of the High Post staff this year and be able to write meaningful stories that convey what is going on at Greater Latrobe. Abigail is thrilled to be a part of the High Post staff this year, as it gives her the opportunity to write meaningful stories that reflect what is happening at Greater Latrobe. She can't wait to begin covering the schools events.
