Greater Latrobe recently hosted the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 1 East Band
Festival. Students from 28 area school districts rehearsed and performed a concert under the direction of
Professor Dennis Glocke, former Director of Wind Band Studies at Penn State University, Four Greater
Latrobe students will represent Greater Latrobe at Region Band in February; Emma Balega on Saxophone,
Regina Zezza on Trumpet, Abigail Wolfgang on French Horn and Dominic Durigon on Euphonium.
