Ihop in Greensburg

Ihop in Greensburg

Ihop, the International House of Pancakes, is a well known restaurant for its great breakfast foods around the US. Having an amazing variety of pancakes, crepes, omelets, sandwiches, and other specialties to choose from; people can’t go long without coming to one of America’s favorite food chains.

Now located in the city of Greensburg right beside Barnes and Nobles and just 20 minutes from Latrobe, teens are able visit Ihop with friends or family without having to travel far to enjoy a delicious meal that will be sure to put a smile on their face. This restaurant not only is dependable on their tasty food, but also provides guests with quick genuine service, and a clean warm environment.

Ihop focuses on giving their customers exactly what they want at a descent price of at least up to ten dollars. One famous combo that is available is the “Pick-a-Pancake.” Customers have the ability to choose any two of the same pancakes, served with two eggs, hash browns, and a choice of either bacon strips or sausage links.

Signature pancakes that are offered include strawberry banana, New York cheesecake, chocolate chip, cinnamon apple, and the new cinn-a-stack. “I am very excited about the new Ihop! I love the chocolate chip pancakes because Ihop’s are the best,” says senior Kaitlyn Gidick.

Loaded with different types of toppings and flavors, Ihop makes sure that their pancakes make a long and lasting impression on anyone that comes into their restaurant.

With a new breakfast based restaurant around that is close, students are very excited about the fresh addition to the Latrobe and Greensburg area. “I think that it is great that Ihop came to Greensburg! I heard that the food was delicious and I’ll probably go there once in a while when the “new” hype settles down,” says senior Rabia Uddin.

Not only is the food something to talk about, but it also isn’t very expensive and fits into a young teen’s budget; a meal of pancakes, bacon, eggs, or sausage for only ten dollars. Being that it’s also soon to be open twenty-four hours a day, students will be able to come at any time that is good for them before or after school and on weekends. “I think that Ihop in Greensburg will be the new place to hang out for local teens because it’s just something different to do. I haven’t been there yet but I assume their pancakes will be my favorite food,” says senior Nick Heining.

With a wide variety of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack items, it will be hard to decide on what to order from the menu. Although whatever you choose to receive on your plate, the International House of Pancakes will keep you coming back every time.
