A new kind of coffee house will take place in February. On Saturday, February 4, the very first “Karaoke Night” will be held in the CSC. From 7 to 10 p.m., anyone may come and enjoy a night of food, fun, and socializing. During Karaoke Night, all students are welcome to perform a song of their choice straight from the Karaoke machine!
Drama club advisor, Mr. Krack, explains how this event will be different from any other coffee house in the past. “It provides an opportunity for serious songs and silly songs,” he said. Krack hopes to attract a large crowd with the event. “Karaoke is not just for singers!” he said.
Food and desserts will be provided for all attendees. It costs $5 for students and $10 for adults for an enjoyable evening of entertainment. All proceeds will go to the spring musical, Children of Eden.
