Hayden Porterfield is a 9th grader at Greater Latrobe Junior High. Hayden is a pitcher for VFW, Flood City Elite, and All American. Hayden started playing baseball when he was 5. He has been pitching for 5 years but has been playing baseball for 10 years. Hayden uses the number 22 because it is his favorite pitcher’s number, Clayton Kershaw. His favorite memory was going to states and doing all the activities that came along outside the games.
