Easy Mug Cake

Since being in quarantine we all get a little bored and have a sweet tooth craving. This mug cake will give you a quick little project to do and will help crave that sweet tooth. Once you make this sit and watch a movie  and relax. Remember to stay home and stay safe!


  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Splash of vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)


  • Microwavable mug
  • 1 Tablespoon
  • ¼ teaspoon
  • Fork
  • microwave


  1.  First put flour,sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a microwave safe mug. Using a fork whisk ingredients together until they are combined.
  2. Next add milk, vegetable oil, and vallina to the mug. Using a fork, blend ingredients together completely.
  3. Next, stir in chocolate chips if you’re using them.
  4. Then, microwave on high for 90 seconds (1 minute 30 seconds)
  5. Let cool for 2 minutes and then enjoy.
