Senioritis: Meredith Saunders

I don’t even want to write this blog, that’s how bad I have senioritis. For me, senioritis is laziness to the max. Waiting until the last minute to do something isn’t out of the ordinary for me, but this year, I have pushed it, waiting until one of my two study halls to accomplish anything. Classes have been winding down. Working on final projects during April sounds good to me, leaving May with an open schedule.  Also this year, my classes aren’t extremely hard, no physics or hard math classes.

The chore of looking like a rock-star everyday has stopped and sweatpants have overtaken my world. My hair is done in a short fifteen minutes and applying make up only takes five. I no longer get up at 6:00 a.m. but a late 6:45 a.m. and I can be ready in a half an hour just in time to make it to school right on the dot at 7:30 a.m.

So why come to school? Why does it even matter? It matters because there are only two months of high school left for me and senioritis is just a part of it. So I’m going to come and look like a slob and have fun with everyone else who can’t stand it.
